Drug Addiction:
Anyone with a drug addiction will have intense cravings for it. The person wants to use the drug again and again. He or she may have unpleasant physical reactions when the drug is stopped.

Alcohol Addiction:

Alcohol withdrawal significantly differs from withdrawal from other drugs in that it can be directly lethal. Although a heroin addict, for example, can die from other health problems made worse by the strain of withdrawal, an alcohol addict who is otherwise healthy can die from the direct effects of withdrawal if it is not appropriately managed.

Gambling Addiction:

Gambling is simply a fun and a form of harmless entertainment in the eyes of most of the industry’s customers. It is only for 4 to 6 percent of gamblers who become problem or pathological (compulsive) gamblers, which can be a harmful illness that negatively affects every aspect of their lives.

Gaming Addiction:

Also known as video game addiction, gaming addiction is a purposed form of psychological addiction composed of a compulsive use of computer and video games. It is related to internet addiction disorder. It is still a matter of argument whether one can become addicted to games. However, there are people who report that their loved ones have been sucked into a game, suddenly isolating themselves, focusing almost entirely on the game instead of real life events, and preferring to play the game instead of actual personal contacts.

Sex Addiction:

Sex addiction is characterized by a way some people medicate their feelings and/or cope with their stresses to the level that their sexual conduct becomes their major coping mechanism for stresses in their life. The person often is not able to stop this sexual behavior of his or her for any great length of time by themselves. The sex addiction patients may experience a spree of sexual behaviors or they spend a lot of time in the pursuit of his or her sexual behavior/fantasy.

Porn Addiction:

Dependence upon or a psychological addiction to pornography portrayed by compulsive thinking, reading, and viewing pornography and sexual themes to the disadvantage of other areas of one’s life is known as porn addiction.

Nicotine Addiction:

Addiction to nicotine is the reason most of the smokers use tobacco on a regular basis.

Addiction is defined as obsessive drug quest and use, even in the face of negative consequences of health. It is a fact that most smokers recognize use of tobacco as injurious and articulate a wish to minimize or quit using it, and almost 35 million of smokers desire to quit each year. It is unfortunate that just about 6 percent of smokers who attempt to quit are triumphant for more than a month.
